I am Chris Semchuk RCAF Veteran, Joined 1997 as an Avionics Tech and Worked on CF18s in Cold Lake at 441 TFS (Tactical Fighter) Squadron, and Commissioned 01 Sept 2001 as an AEC (Aerospace Controller). Starting BOTC (Basic Officers Training Course 16 Sept 2001)- "SIGNIFICANT". I got Medically Released 2016 with the leading cause being PTSD- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (I prefer Shell Shock) or (OSI- Operations Stress Injury).

Veterans under VAC- Veterans Affairs Canda are RCMP and CAF- Canadian Armed Forces. I just want to highlight all members that served are Veterans. Whether injured in combat, supporting combat, at home on or abroad. Even injured on the job or in training. WE ARE ALL Veterans.
Finally PTSD/OSI/Shell Shock no matter how injured is real and an injury!
